Trainee Lettings Consultant
Location: Essex (Various branches across the region)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 6:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Saturday 8:30am - 4:00pm (day off in lieu during the week)
Salary: £23,000 to £27,000 pa basic salary plus OTE circa £28,000 - £30,000 pa

Quarterly bonuses upon successful completion of initial probation period

Additional commission opportunities via a referral incentive programme (circa £500 pa)

Business mileage reclaimed at a pre-agreed rate

A typical day

Liaising with potential new tenants to understand their individual requirements and backgrounds, making informed recommendations

Developing a strong understanding of the property portfolio

Coordinating and carrying out property viewings with prospective tenants

Conducting periodic property inspections on behalf of landlords

Negotiating terms between landlords and tenants

About you

Full UK driving licence and use of own car is essential

A proven track record within a customer-focused office environment (previous property experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided)

Enthusiastic and competitive with a strong work ethic

Excellent communication skills, with a positive and professional approach

IT proficient, familiar with MS Office packages and able to learn quickly
