Skills, experience or attitude?

The big question is - skills, experience or attitude when recruiting the right people?

Many of our clients come to LCA initially with set requirements, based on experience levels or a specific skillset, looking at getting their notional right “fit” for the team and personality.  Rarely is behaviour considered at the initial stages of recruitment. However, we’ve found this to be one of the most valuable elements when looking at long-term success in a role.

We’ve researched and managed to find an incredibly successful tool, a scientific system which enables us to dig deep and understand the behaviours - rather than just the skills – that you would need in the roles that you are looking to fill.

Overcome recuitment pain-points

Once you’ve given us details around the role and we’ve understood the behavioural – as well as skill- and knowledge-based – requirements, we can then go to market and find the candidates with the right blend. We’ll seek the right experience and skill set, as any good, “traditional” recruiter should do, but – uniquely – we’ll also matching their behaviours to the role that you have profiled with us, ensuring that the candidate you offer is the candidate that goes on to have a very successful career with you.

With LCA, you take away two of the most common pain-points in recruitment – is the candidate really going to fit in culturally (as well as in terms of knowledge and skills) and are they a long-term recruit or am I going to have an expensive regret it in a few months’ time?

"Ryan Doyle has been amazing, he was really friendly, professional and on the ball. He secured me an interview the same day as speaking to me and then managed to place me with the right company in a new role! Could not fault him."
